The Mission

My mission this year is to raise $30,000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation while pushing my body to limits I can’t imagine. Last year in-between leg cramps during my ½ Ironman I thought “why aren’t I doing this for a cause” so this year I am.

I think a 4k, swim, 180k bike and a 42k run is a daunting task, but way easier than being told you have cancer. I lost my Granny, a good friend and most recently one of my best friends Moms lost her battle with cancer, I don’t want to lose anyone else to this disease.

I’m willing to push my body to the limits and I feel privileged to be able to honour the people I lost but I need your help in reaching my goal. Cash donations, silent auction items and at the least say a prayer for someone you know who’s been touched by cancer.

Join me on my journey as I’m sure they’ll be good days but also some bad and I can use all the support you can lend me. I know my goal is lofty but with the support of good people like you we can do it together!! Thanks not only for the support but for believing in me and my cause and if I have to cross that finish line on my hands and knees you better believe I WILL CROSS THAT LINE on August 29th.

See you at the finish line.
